Bandit raid on nuns thwarted
Quick action by the Kenya police foiled a bandit attack on Catholic nuns at a
convent of the Katilu Catholic mission, Turkana District, on Friday night.
Plane crashes on lake A DC-10 Cargo Aircraft today crashed into Lake Victoria after over-running the
runaway at Entebbe International Airport. The cargo aircraft which was coming from London crashed at 5.45 am. However, Mr John Nasasira, Ugandan minister of Works, Housing and
Communication said the crew was rescued immediately.
