Mumias ‘bribed All Stars Sh40,000 to win’
Soccer champions Mumias Sugar _ one of Kenya's top clubs _ today faces expulsion from the game. The move follows revelations that some of its players and officials bribed Kisumu All Stars with Sh40,000 to let in the 10 goals that won Mumias the Premier League last weekend.

If the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Bill passed this week is signed into law, MPs who have served for just one term and will have reached 40 will be entitled to a pension calculated at 15 per cent of their gross pay. It so happens that MPs do not contribute to a pension scheme which means Kenyans will have to foot the bill.
