Kenya's Limika pushes Polish athlete to new women's mark
Kenya's Irene Limika's challenge pushed Justyna Bak of Poland to shatter the world record in the 3,000 steeplechase, covering the distance in nine minutes, 25.31 seconds at the Nikaia Grand Prix meet Monday evening.

Bak slashed nearly 15 seconds off the old mark of 9:40.20 set by Romania’s Cristina Iloc-Casandra on August 30, last year in Reims, France.
