Njoya case hits snag

By NATION Reporter

The hearing of a case in which a man is charged with assaulting Presbyterian clergyman Timothy Njoya hit a snag yesterday because the court had too many files to handle.

Chief Magistrate Omondi Tunya referred the file for mention today.

The Rev (Dr) Njoya had appeared before Mr Tunya accompanied by several faithful.

The State has accused Mr Patrick Shikanga Likhotio of causing grievous harm to Dr Njoya last June 10.

The suspect is out on bond.
