Volleyballers settle for bronze as Kenyans beat Cameroon 3-0
in Abuja
The women's volleyball team made short work of Cameroon beating them 3-0 to take the bronze medal on the final day of action yesterday morning.
The Kenyans won 25-14, 25-17 and 30-28 to bring Kenya's final medal tally to 23.
"If had not just messed ourselves up when we played Nigeria in the semi final, we would be playing for the gold medal," said Nancy Lusanji.
The last group of Kenyan athletes leaves Abuja this morning and is expected in Nairobi by 4 pm.
