Storm at Sea calms down to reclaim cup

Despite carrying the top weight, Julie McCann-trained Storm At Sea, ridden by apprentice jockey Judy Limb, clinched the Kenyatta Cup over 1,200 metres at Ngong racecourse yesterday.

The five-year-old runner, whose last victory was in last year's Kenyatta Cup, beat Anfield – with James Kariuki aboard – by two lengths to hand back the cup to owners R. Devani, K. Shah and Romolo Severini.
