The
International Fireball World Sailing Championships take place on the Kenyan coast
at Kilifi this year. This is the first time this annual nautical challenge will
be held in Sub-saharan waters and it promises to be a tropical extravaganza. The
Championships take place from 15-28 February and will include an Internatioal
week of six races as a warm up event, followed by the ten race World Champiuonship
series. Fifty crews representing ten countries are expected to take part and hundreds
of spectators will be in Kilifi for the Championship. The exceptional spectator
viewpoint on the cliffs overlooking the course makes Kilifi one of the best places
in the world for watching this event. Going
