TANZANIA HAS named its representatives to the forthcoming regional basketball and handball clubs championships scheduled for April and June this year. 

Vijana City Bulls and National Service (JKT) will take part in the basketball championships to be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from April 27 to May 1, while Bulls will compete in the men's category and JKT will go for the women's honours.

Meanwhile, four teams, two each in the men's and women's categories, have qualified for the regional handball tournament to be held in Zanzibar in June. They are national men's Magereza and Ruvu JKT and women's Magereza and Buhemba JKT.
